After a few days back in Austria we planned to visit friends in Graubünden in the Swiss Alps. We had a nice drive from the county of Tirol via the Arlberg tunnel in to the small county of Vorarlberg and then onto Fürstentum Lichtenstein. From there it is only a short drive in to Praetigau where we was stayed for a few days.
We went by cable car up the Mountain Valzeina to enjoy the stunning views.
We loved to drive the narrow mountain road from Chur to Flims.
Switzerland has a lot of old houses made from stones which gives a lot of character.
Our friends Ueli and Claudia are owners of a 75 series Land Cruiser which is in a fantastic condition.
After we said Goodby to our friends we travelled to Engadin via the train (Rhaetian Railway) as the Fluela pass (2,838m) is closed in the winter.
